One piece sound deck made from hard wood Walnut or Honduras mahogany for
Superior sound .
Wood is dyed with custom color dyes sanded at high speeds on a Lathe to 600
grit sand paper giving it a super smooth dyed in wood colors . this processes
takes longer then straight dyes but the final finish is far nicer in my opinion

Ash wood Grain/Texture: Has a medium to coarse texture similar to oak. The
grain is almost always straight and regular, though sometimes moderately curly
or figured boards can be found.
Common Uses: Flooring, mill work, boxes/crates, baseball bats, and other
turned objects such as tool handles.
Comments: White Ash has excellent shock resistance, and along with hickory
(Carya spp.), it is one of the most commonly used hardwoods for tool handles in
North America—particularly in shovels and hammers where toughness and impact
resistance is important.
The density of this wood make it great for Fenders electric guitars , a great
woodwind wood as well .for hardwoods

I Enjoyed making this one the knot is common among native Flutes and add to
the looks of the flute .It has been filled in with turquoises and high grade
epoxy not found in local stores. The tuning is G scale mode 1&4

Ash gives a great sound similar hickory. the sound tube left natural the slow
air chamber has been sealed with lacquer . the block is walnut and spatted ash .
a nice flute for the beginner or expert wanting to ad to there collection
there first flute or 20th .

I am not new to to Native American Style flute making or wood working been
doing it all my life . I strive for 100% satisfaction .I may not be the best
but I am not the worst ,and you are sure to get your monies worth from a Crazy

I make all my two piece flutes with a one piece sound deck this insures that
it will never split between the SAC/& TSH , the only reason they split in this
area is one the maker rushes the glue up and blows into the flute before the
glue is fully set and the spit gets in the glue never setting and years later
separates
