Shamanic Rattle
The head is deer rawhide and the handle elk antler. There are ametrine stones
inside. I painted the rawhide in multiple colors of light. The rattle is 10"
long. The rattle head is 8" around.
Although most call them shamanic rattles, rattles are a tool used by many
cultures as I believe that all humans were tribal at one time. They are used to
call in spirit and/or to break up energy. They can be used in your journey
time, meditations, and ceremonies. How they are used and what they lend to your
ceremony depends on the materials used.
Each of my rattles are hand stitched from deer rawhide. All of my work is
one-of-a-kind.
You do want to be protective of this sound tool. Because although it has a
protective coat on it, it is rawhide, it may collapse if it has gotten wet.
