Bansuri in G, Bamboo Flute in G, Indian Flute in G

A very well handmade Bansuri in G using Indian tuning (3 upper holes closed -
SA) D using western tuning (6 holes closed), with a range of 2 full chromatic
octaves. It is made of tropical bamboo: one straight piece without internodes
for excellent sound and easy clear high octaves.

It is possible to meet us on Messenger or on Meet to hear the sound and
intonation of the bansuri live.

This Bansuri is perfect for those who want to try a flute for the first time.
Intonation guaranteed by more than 2and half chromatic octaves. It can be used
for different types of ethnic music (Indian, Baroque, Renaissance, Irish). The
sound is obtained like in a normal flute. The semitones are obtained by closing
half the holes.
This flute is about 60 cm long and 2 cm in diameter.
The thread bindings are present only at the ends of the Bansuri as they are
the most delicate parts, subject to cracking. The thread is waxed and it's well
tied without glue, avoiding to link other parts along the flute because there
may be a distortion of the sound.
Completely handmade and signed by the maker.

Lorenzo Squillari studies, researches, creates and teaches Bansuri for more
than 30 years. He began studying flute and jazz saxophone. In 1981 he began
studying at the school of the legendary Maestro Ustad Ali Akbhar Khan, son of
Baba Allauddin Khan. Since 2002 he teaches Bansuri at the Conservatory Arrigo
Pedrollo of Vicenza, which established the Musical Extraeuropee Traditions
Course (Indological address).
